The consultancy
J. Anderson Consulting was formed by Johann Anderson in 1994 as an independant consultacy driven to provide high quality specialist advice and design in the field of building services engineering. After a career spanning seven years in the delivery of new processes in the manufacturing industry and a further eleven years in the consultation management of building services engineering projects, Johann established J. Anderson Consulting as a specialst service.
From 1996 to 1998 J. Anderson Consultig provided the in-house engineering design team for a successful Melbourne based corporate office interior design and construction practice. Johann carried the overall responsibility for management of the engineering, interior design and construction groups.
In January 1999 Johann resumes the independant consultancy practise and since then J. Anderson Consulting has been delivering high quality, cost effective and personalised service to a broader range of clients.
The Services
J. Anderson Consulting offers design, implementation, commissioning and post occupancy investigation of building engineering services in all forms of commercial, industrial and residential buildings. The engineering disciplines offered by the practice include:
- mechanical (heating, ventilation and air conditioning)
- hydraulics & civil services
- electrical (power and lighting)
- voice and data communications
- security and audio visual services
- fire protection
- vertical transportation
An area in which we have been particularly active in recent times is due diligence inspections and the investigation and reporting on problems with existing building services on behalf of either the building owner or tenant.
The Team
In order to meet the fluctuating workload that is inherent in the building industry we have established a collaborative group of experienced senior engineers and para-professional support staff.
After consultation with our clients we assemble a project team with the most appropriate skill set to address all aspects of the client's brief and ultimately achieve the project’s goal. Of course J. Anderson Consulting Pty Ltd shoulders the overall responsibility for the delivery of all projects undertaken. This approach enables us to minimise business overheads and thereby provide our clients with a competitive fee structure.
